About Me *

Hi! I’m MaryElle Masterson! I am an Elementary and Exceptional Student Education major with ESOL and Reading endorsements, blending teaching expertise with PR-minded communication and design. Growing up in the South shaped my love for connection, warmth, and community, and those values guide the way I build trusting, supportive learning environments.

I’m passionate about creating instruction that is clear, inclusive, and visually engaging, especially for ELLs and students with ASD. Through my practicum work in K–5 classrooms, I’ve used UDL strategies, visual modeling, and small-group instruction to help every student access learning in a way that feels doable, joyful, and meaningful.

With a Public Relations minor, I bring strengths in storytelling, branding, and design that elevate the materials I create and strengthen the way I partner with families and school communities. Outside the classroom, I’m grounded by wellness and movement , my background as a competitive swimmer fuels my consistency, energy, and work ethic.

At my core, I believe that when learning feels welcoming and beautifully clear, students gain confidence, and confidence changes everything.

My Work!

A look at the visuals, worksheets, and classroom tools I design to make learning clear, joyful, and accessible for all students. These materials support UDL, ELL learners, and early elementary instruction.

A classroom behavior plan I designed to promote kindness, responsibility, and consistency. It includes clear expectations, visual cues, and student-friendly language to support a positive learning environment.

A phonics-based writing template designed to support early writers as they practice short “o” words through creativity, drawing, and sentence-building.

A math practice worksheet focused on addition and subtraction within 10. The farm theme with students’ names provides visual context to support early learners in building number sense.
